Us
The purpose-built Centre was established in 1995 to provide
the residents of the Glenroy area with their own centre-based
child care. Pearl Street Child Care Centre is privately owned
and offers full-time and part-time care to 60 children aged
from 0 to 5 years old. The Centre consists of Babies room,
Toddlers room, Junior room, and Pre-Prep (Kinder) room.
Our staff are highly qualified Early Childhood Professionals
with a strong commitment to the provision of superior quality
child care. The skillbase of our permanent staff include
a range of early childhood qualifications and/or experience
comprising:
Diploma of Teaching - Early Childhood
Associate Diploma of Social Services - Child Care Studies
Diploma of Community Services (ChildCare)
Diploma of Childrens Services (Centre Based Care)
Certificate in Child Care (Assistant)
We also encourage our junior staff to undertake tertiary studies in Child Care. We constantly review the needs of children and strive to develop programs and provide routines which are truly appropriate - entertaining - challenging - and motivating.
