Overview
Pearl Street Child Care Centre is privately owned and offers
full-time and part-time care to 60 children, aged from 0 to
5 years old. The Centre consists of Babies room, Toddlers
room, and Pre-Prep (Kinder) room. Children are generally placed
in rooms depending not only on their age group, but on their
social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and creative state
of development - and where they seem most comfortable.
Purpose & Aims
Our paramount interest is in the well-being of your child. Our aim is to provide high quality child care in a warm, friendly and healthy environment, where each child feels welcome and safe. Our policy is Total Care - to provide for every possible need for your child and where children go home happy and look forward to coming back the next day. It is our primary objective to deliver an invaluable level of care which satisfies the most loving parent - and fulfills the right of all children and their families to services of high quality.
Centre Details
The Centre is registered with Department of Human Services. We are governed by the Children's Services Regulations 1998 and Children's Services Act 1996.
As a registered long day centre, our Centre cares for children between two months and five years of age with operating hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The Pearl Street Child Care Centre is a member of the Victorian Private Child Care Association. As a member, the Centre abides by a Code of Ethics. The Director and staff are active and enthusiastic participants in regular in-servicing programs/workshops.
Under the national Quality Improvement and Accreditation System (QIAS), the Centre has consistently achieved High Quality in all areas.
