At Pearl Street Child Care Centre, we know that the children we are educating and caring for will be the future leaders and policymakers – and what we impart to them now in everyday waste management, recycling activities and respect of the environment will have a direct influence on a sustainable future.

Our children actively work towards contributing to composting, recycling clothing and recycling paper/cardboard, which are all embedded in our daily practice.

Our children and families also participate in fundraising activities for the Leukemia Foundation, Starlight Foundation, Cranio Facial Australia, Salvation Army donation recycling.

We have appointed a Sustainability Officer to actively assist the centre in implementing new ideas and projects.
